Pilot Mountain Woman's Club

A History of the

Pilot Mountain Woman’s Club

The Pilot Mountain Woman’s Club was organized November 4, 1963 by the White Plains Woman’s Club. It originally consisted of thirty-three charter members. On November 27, 1963, the Pilot Mountain Woman’s Club also joined the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.

Over the years the Pilot Mountain Woman’s Club has had 33 Presidents, participated in numerous projects and held many fundraisers. All proceeds are given back to the community in different ways. It might be to help a needy family or programs within the local schools just to name a few.

The Pilot Mountain Woman’s Club is made up of dedicated women who volunteer their time and heart. Their mission is to work together to fulfill the needs of people through public service and to foster the opportunity for growth and development both within their community and within their fellow club members.

The “community” has always been the focal point of the Pilot Mountain Woman’s Club.
